Life Has Begun
My son started his first "real" job on Monday, July 30. He's working for an ad-marketing company called Mongoose Atlantic; it's exactly what he wanted, exactly what he seems good at, and it's scaring the snot out of him. Finally, he's a grown up. Once he gets a few successes under his belt he'll be fine, but he has so much to learn and he's afraid he won't get it all. He's always had a fear of change: every first day of school brought another cycle of fear, misbehaviour, general brattiness... and here we are again, another age, another venue, same reaction.

Ok. He must be over those jitters by now. If the job didn't fit, he'll be on to something that will be a better fit, and will be building a resumé. Yay!
How are you doing? The picture of that slot canyon on one of your other posts is a gorgeous one. Talk about something Peaceful to contemplate while calming down for the day.. that's it!
Hi zippiknits. Thanks for your comment... sorry it took so long to reply. Blogging isn't my forte, as you may have figured out. My son is all settled in, thankfully, but still complaining about having to go to work for a living. Toooo bad. told him to talk to me in 30 years.
I'm doing very well, now that the holidays are finally OVER. And thanks for the comment on the picture. Don't recall where I found it (probably right here on Blogger), but it struck me too.
